The Welsh Open 2018 entries are now open! The Weightlifting and Para-Powerlifting competition will be held at the Sport Wales National Centre on 13th-14th October and this event will run with the new IWF categories in place. You can get to the form by clicking here

Remember! ALL coaches must hold a valid Coaching License (obtained though BWL) in order to be able to coach at this event. 

The schedule will be released at the end of September once the entries close on the 23rd September. Welsh Senior 2019 qualification totals can be found here and the Welsh Open will be a qualification event for this.
Can you help?
We are also looking for some volunteers to help with loading, ticket and t-shirt sales and technical officiating, if you are interested in being part of this team for the Welsh Open and future competitions please get in touch with Competition Manager Justin Head at Justin.Head@weightlifting.wales.

Loaders receive a free Weightlifting Wales t-shirt and earn £25 for their affiliated club (a max of 4 loaders per club to earn up to £100).

Technical Officials will receive travel expenses at £0.25p per mile, accommodation and meals during the competition. BWL Technical Official courses can now be completed online, so if you are interested in becoming a TO then visit the link below to find out more click here
