Weightlifting Wales Annual Awards Dinner
We are welcoming you to join us for an evening of recognition of Weightlifting Wales’ members, lifters and volunteers hard work and achievement’s throughout 2018! The evening will start at 6:30pm at Reichal Hall, Bangor on Saturday 8th December, with a drinks reception, followed by a three course festive meal, and an awards ceremony. We aim for the evening to be an opportunity to celebrate the success Weightlifting Wales has seen over the past 12 months, and to inspire and encourage more success in the future!
Commitment Award- To a development athlete who has demonstrated excellent commitment and effort to their training throughout the year
Club of the Year- To a club which is hard-working in developing lifters, contributes to Weightlifting Wales and promotes the values of the organisation
Outstanding Contribution to Weightlifting Wales- To someone who has made an exceptional contribution to the organisation during their involvement in the sport
Volunteer of the Year- To an unsung hero who has contributed greatly to Weightlifting Wales, their club and/or lifters on a voluntary basis
Coach of the Year- For a coach who has made exceptional contribution to Weightlifting through their role
Youth Athlete of the Year – An up and coming youth who is one to watch in the coming years – (17 or under)
Junior of the Year – An up and coming junior who is one to watch in the coming years- (18 to 20yrs,)
Best Sporting Achievement of the year- to be nominated by the Performance team
Para-Powerlifter of the Year – to be nominated by the Performance team
